# Anton Gollwitzer

> Anton Gollwitzer is a social and political psychologist. He is a Full Professor at BI Norwegian Business School, an Associate Research Scientist at the Max Planck Institute for Human Development, and Co-Director of the Center for Democracy and Information Integrity (CDI). His research lies at the intersection of psychology, politics, and data science, with a focus on political beliefs, misinformation, polarization, extremism, social norms and deviance, and the impact of artificial intelligence on democracy. He earned his PhD at Yale University.
